On January 25, 2005, a gas explosion killed three workers at the Acetylene Service Company plant in Perth Amboy, NJ. The blast originated in a wooden shed located near six large storage tanks that received liquid waste from the plant's acetylene generating system. The plant produces, repackages, and distributes acetylene used in welding.
Unfortunately, such accidents are all too common. Oftentimes, they have significant consequences for those involved, as well as their family. Sadly, workers' lives are put at risk when employers fail to comply with laws and regulations governing the safety of the construction site.
If you or a loved one has been injured in a gas explosion or other construction site accident, you should contact an attorney to review your legal options. The injured party may be entitled to compensation, which can greatly ease the pain and difficulty of recovery from such a traumatic event. Simply fill out the free consultation form, and your claim will be reviewed by a construction site accident lawyer.
